Bangkok Trip Day 4 Part 3 - Review of "Once Upon a Time" Thai food restaurant

At the recommendation of the hotel staff, we went to a nearby Thai food restaurant call "Once Upon a Time" to have a taste of authentic Thai food.  "Once Upon a Time" is located opposite at Hotel Novotel Bangkok Platinum Pratunam in the middle of Soi 17. If you come from the direction of Amari Water Gate hotel, turn into the alley just after passing Shibuya 19. The restaurant is situated in the middle of the alley.

The restaurant has a outdoor & indoor sitting area, and we choose to sit indoor to avoid the mosquitoes.

We ordered the typical Thai food - fried rice, tom yum soup and pandan chicken, and the taste of all the dishes are awesome! Special mention to the Tom Yum soup - it was rich with lots of ingredients, and I would recommend you to order this if you have the chance to visit this restaurant.

The restaurant used to be an old Thai style wooden house, and you are free to visit the 2nd floor to take a look at the olden house decorations.

We paid about SGD$30 for the meal, which I think is worth every cents, even though it is considered as an expensive meal under Bangkok standard.

After dinner, it's time for an important task - Packing! Time flies and the next day is the last day of our trip.

Since it will be our last night in Bangkok, we decided to have the Samurai Pork Burger from Macdonalds again as supper. We are so going to miss this burger when we're back in Singapore.
