We reached Busselton Jetty in time for the sun-set, but not in time to take the jetty train and visit the Underwater Observatory as the last train is at 4pm.
However, it was lovely to enjoy the breeze under the clear blue sky.
We then drove 45mins to a Coles Supermarket near Margaret River to stock up tibits and grocery for our dinner that night. Coles Supermarket is the more economical choice among the different supermarkets available in Perth.
Next, we checked in at Margaret River Hideaway, where we stayed for the next 2 nights. There were many different types of accommodations available around Margaret River region, but we chose Margaret River Hideaway after reading reviews about its cleanliness and the availability of farm activities within its premises.
The 3 bedroom cottage was fully book although we tried to book about 3 months in advance, so do make your reservation early to avoid disappointment. We have to take the 2 bedroom cottage instead. You will get instructions on how to get there upon reservations. It was a great stay, but it could have been better if there were 2 toilets in the cottage, as all of us have to queue for the 1 and only toilet in the cottage. We cooked and had our dinner, watched TV and had an early rest since there isn't much to do at night.
